Yes, this is a virtual event in the spirit of the first Around the World conference.

The invited session proposals will open in May 2025. Join our Mailing List so that you will be notified when the conference them is announced and for other presentation-related deadlines. Registration for the conference will open in June 2025 and we also suggest signing up for the Mailing List to keep up-to-date with conference activities. We have the opportunity with Springer Nature to have a IDWSDS topical collection that will appear in the Journal of Statistical Theory and Practice with articles that are developed based on the talks presented. We will have guest editors and reviewers to help with this edition.

In order to be considered for publication, you must complete our Google form by December 15th. The information submitted will be the title, abstract, list of authors and paper outline. The deadline is for paper submission and will be February 28, 2025 at 11:59 pm ET. You must have completed the Google form to be eligible to be considered for the topical collection. 
 
The papers will be reviewed March 15 – April 15 after which you will be notified if your paper is accepted for this special issue.
